Moderators.
General Rules.
[/li][li]Plagiarism will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The first offense will result in deletion and banishment from the board indefinitely.
[/li][li]Respect Staff and Members alike, this is not a playground and we expect everyone to conduct themselves in a mature and appropriate manner.
Before Posting Anything.
[/li][li]Take time to review our site. Go through our different boards and see how things are generally run and get a good feel on what's really going on here. The Esoterical Coterie was created to share, create, and teach. Everyone here is more than willing to help you if you're just willing to ask. Our mission is to assist our members in reaching their ultimate potential, as well as providing a sanctuary where you can feel free to express yourself without fears of judgment.
[/li][li]Comment on threads and provide opinions, suggestions and praise to others. People are more prone to reading what you submit if they've noticed you have given feedback to them.
[/li][li] Introduce yourself in the Introduction board. You can be the best writer, artist, photographer or musician in the world, but if our members don't know you then getting started here may be a bit awkward.
[/li][li]Remember to continually post. This Board is like a second family to me, and like a family or a team we are only as strong as our weakest link. If you're not replying or starting threads then it won't take long for others to follow.
Writing Guidelines.
[/li][li]Insert title of piece in subject line.
[/li][li]Using colors and fonts to decorate your submission is fine but make sure everyone can read it. Colors like yellow and lime green are difficult to read and fonts under a standard 8pt are not allowed.
[/li][li]Author's Notes and comments should be put at the bottom of the thread.
[/li][li]Be sure to check for spelling, grammar, typos and punctuation. We understand that immaculate spelling is not always suitable for some of our members but please at least try to make it readable.
[/li][li]Photos and graphics may be added to any piece but if it stretches the thread your entire submission will be deleted, no questions asked and no exceptions.
[/li][li]Once you're done posting go through the writing board and comment on at least three other works. (Not Your Own.)
[/li][li]Save a copy of your piece to your own personal computer. We do monthly cleanups and older submissions will be deleted. I recommend signing up for a private Blogger account and saving your work to that site. It's better to have your work saved to the internet rather than a computer that very well may crash.
Photography & Art Guidelines.
[/li][li]Photos or Drawings go first, comments, materials and explanations go last.
[/li][li]Do not stretch the thread.
General Conversation Guidelines.
[/li][li] The title says it all. You may post nearly anything you desire here, just make sure it's not too inappropriate due to the fact we have younger members.
Workshop Guidelines.
[/li][li] We created the workshop to help our members perfect their craft. Any questions or concerns on your medium should be direction to that area of the board. It's there as a tool to grow and challenge, use it.
